The Hershey’s Kisses Fans ‘Dream About’ Are Finally Back on Shelves

Seasonal Hershey’s Kisses can break your heart when they’re gone. Whether they’re the OG milk chocolate Kisses in a seasonal wrapper—like the Valentine’s Snoopy & Friends wrappers that were downright adorable—or a seasonal flavor—like the Hershey's Kisses Candy Cane flavor—when they’re gone, they can leave a hollow feeling in your chest. Okay, we may be over-exaggerating, but when a fave disappears from shelves, disappointment inevitably sets in.

It certainly seems that way for the fans of one of Hershey’s seasonal summer Kisses—Strawberry Ice Cream Cone. Fortunately, the brand just confirmed they’re back (for now).

Hershey’s Strawberry Ice Cream Cone Kisses

Summer and ice cream are synonymous, so a seasonal Hershey’s Kiss that mimics an iconic ice cream cone flavor makes a lot of sense. These strawberry-flavored creme Kisses have bits of cookies throughout, giving you the taste of strawberry ice cream and the crunch of a cone with each candy you pop in your mouth.

Instagram’s candyhunting recently spotted the treat at Target. How good are they? One commenter summed up the flavor of the Strawberry Ice Cream Cone Kisses succinctly with a “Soooo good!” Another breathed a sigh of relief to know the candy is back on store shelves. “Thank goodness! I paid $32 for 3 bags on eBay last year since they didn't have them out!,” they said, adding that the Kisses are good to chop up and use like chocolate chips in strawberry shortcake cookies.

We suspect that if you switched out the raspberry jam for strawberry jam (and perhaps the almond extract for vanilla extract) in these Raspberry Almond Kiss Cookies, the Strawberry Ice Cream Cone Kisses would create a tasty riff on the original recipe.

While the Kisses have been spotted on store shelves, they aren’t for sale yet this year on Hershey’s website. The beloved chocolate company may want to point commenters to where the candy can be purchased because some fans are not happy they can’t get them right now.

“Bring these back! I dream about them!!! My favorite flavor by far!” demanded one fan on the site. While another asked more politely and pleaded their case, “Hershey’s please bring these back. I love these more than anything and I look for them every year. They are the best Hershey’s kiss I have ever had. The best flavor and the best crunch!”

Perhaps it was not an over-exaggeration to say lack of access to these candies can leave fans heartbroken. But don't worry, we did hear from a rep that they "are rolling out to nationwide retailers now."
