Henry Winkler, Taylor Swift

Henry Winkler, who developed a friendship with the Kansas City Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce not long ago, discovered a personal benefit to Kelce's blossoming romance with Taylor Swift as his granddaughter took an interest in the situation.

The Happy Days actor shared a photo of one of his six grandchildren rocking a sweatshirt that read, "World's Biggest Fan of Taylor Swift's Boyfriend's Team," featuring the logo and colors of the Chiefs football team.

Winkler tagged Kelce and wrote, "our granddaughter."

Fans loved the adorable photo, and many could relate to him, with one follower sharing a snap of their daughter wearing a similar shirt reading, "Go Taylor's Boyfriend," writing, "It’s contagious … my daughter." Winkler replied, complimenting the little girl, "WHAT A smile."

Another commented, "Henry - thank you for sharing this!!! Dynamic! And she rocks!!!!"

Other fans of the Chiefs didn't seem to mind that Swift was the main draw, warmly welcoming the little girl to the fanbase. A news anchor wrote, "Welcoming your granddaughter to #ChiefsKingdom ! @kmbc," while someone else responded, "The Fonz’s granddaughter knows what it’s all about!! Kelce is amazing…#Swifties #ChiefsKingdom @Dee52471862😝❤️."

"I am all for changing the team's name to the KC T Swift's Boyfriend's Team!" said a different fan appreciating Winkler's granddaughter's perspective.

Winkler appears to be a huge fan of the Chiefs, and in late 2022, he tweeted thoroughly excited because he was meeting Mahomes for the first time, and the quarterback even gifted him a signed jersey.

Later, Kelce also joined the conversation, wearing a practice t-shirt that read, "Football Family Fonzie," with a photo of Winkler's Happy Days character, Fonzie, and the team's arrowhead imagery.

It seems like the team and the actor are fans of each other, and according to Winkler's new post, his love for the team still stands. Now, thanks to a little help from Swift, his granddaughter is also a Chiefs fan.
