Including *the* volumizing spray that makes it look like I have double the amount of hair.

March 25 will forever be one of my favorite days. No, it’s not because it’s my birthday, and it’s not because anything majorly special happened to me on this date, but rather that it’s queen Sarah Jessica Parker’s birthday, and if you’ve ever read any of my work, you’ll know the Sex and the City icon is a huge inspiration to me. I think about SJP on the daily, whether it be her early days on the iconic show that made me fall in love with the Big Apple or her 2023 red carpet looks that prove she’s still got it. She’s my Roman Empire.

She’s not only ultra-talented, but she also has a knack for finding the best of the best, both in terms of beauty products and fashion staples. I’ve been inspired by many of her picks; in fact, the volumizing hair spray she once called a “favorite” totally changed the way I style my tresses. So, in the spirit of celebrating SJP from afar, I decided to take a trip down memory lane and highlight six of her go-to brands that are totally worth making yours, too.

Sarah Jessica Parker’s 6 Go-To Brands

Serge Normant Dream Big Hair Spray

Amazon

Amazon

For big hair (that’s not full of secrets!!), this Serge Normant spray is for you. Trust me when I say that since using this, I look like I have twice the amount of hair — that’s how much volume it gives. Not to mention, SJP isn’t the only fan, either. The hairspray has been used on other icons like Julia Roberts and Meghan Markle. So, yeah, it’s pretty amazing. Plus, it’s on sale for $21 right now during Amazon’s Big Spring Sale.

Merit Great Skin Instant Glow Serum

Merit

Merit

Merit’s beauty products are about as famous as the faces who’ve used them. Hilary Duff, Cameron Diaz, and Demi Moore are all fans, but the Merit product used to achieve SJP’s glass skin is the one I’m most interested in. Enter: the Great Skin Instant Glow Serum that shoppers have said is successful in making them “look younger.” It’s hydrating, lightweight, and plumping, which TBH, is everything I want in a serum, especially given that my skin is on the oily side.

7 For All Mankind Luxe Vintage Josefina Jeans

7 For All Mankind

7 For All Mankind jeans have been around for decades, which makes the denim brand an obvious icon. I’ve been wearing its jeans as far back as I can remember, but was reinspired to try new styles after learning that Parker is a big fan of the brand’s Josefina style, a subtly baggy boyfriend jean that’s equal parts comfy and flattering. And thankfully, each pair has just the right amount of stretch because I simply will not wear rigid blues. Sorry not sorry.

Iris&Romeo Better Days Concealer

Iris & Romeo

Iris & Romeo

This concealer has been on my wishlist for a while, but I was particularly propelled to test it out after learning that SJP’s airbrushed red-carpet complexion called on this Iris&Romeo Concealer that, quite frankly, does it all. It blurs wrinkles, hides dark circles, and brightens, all while its skin-forward formula improves the look and feel of your skin thanks to Kakadu plum, licorice root extract, and hyaluronic acid. Talk about a game-changing beauty buy!

Dr. Scholl’s the Original Sandal

Zappos

Zappos

Before you go there, let me tell you one thing: If you’ve never worn “grandma” shoes, you’re missing the point. While this OG Dr. Scholl’s style might conjure up thoughts of your nana working outside, those days are gone, with clog-like styles like this hitting the mainstream — and for good reason. They're comfy, because foot health is officially in.

RoC Multi Correxion Revive + Glow Vitamin C Eye Balm

Amazon

Amazon

Glowy skin is just a few drops away. Parker gushed about this particular vitamin C eye balm last year, and I haven’t been able to get it off my mind since. In fact, I think it’s officially time I buy it because it’s on sale at Amazon. The product promises to reduce puffiness and dark circles, and I could definitely use some help in that department.
