Sweeping out all the cobwebs during spring cleaning has already got us thinking about Halloween, and apparently it’s the same for The Home Depot. The home improvement retailer is celebrating the halfway point to spooky season with an early release of select items from their 2024 Halloween lineup, including a new and improved version of the beloved “Skelly,” the 12-foot skeleton. Starting April 25, Halloween enthusiasts can shop all-new figures and returning fan-favorites, exclusively on HomeDepot.com.

For superfans, Halloween is a yearlong journey to find the absolute best décor for the month of October (I personally have been known to keep “potion bottles” on our bar cart and pumpkin garlands on our door year-round), which is why it’s no surprise that The Home Depot is offering earlier than ever. This actually marks the second year in a row that they’ve dropped a “Halfway to Halloween” event in April, and this year the scares are bigger and better than ever — but as always, it’s necessary to have quick fingers so you can add these ghouls to cart before they disappear for good (or until later this year), because they tend to sell out fast.

The undeniable autumnal GOAT of the year (as always) is the 12-foot Giant-Sized Skeleton with LifeEyes LCD Eyes, a viral smash that’s sold out every year since 2020. “Skelly” as it’s affectionately known to fans, will make its fourth year debut with new LCD life-like eyes that have eight swappable settings, all for the unbeatable, consistent price of $299. Skelly is joined this year by a new companion, his best friend and loyal pal “Dawg,” who is, of course, a five-foot Skeleton Dog ($199) with a posable mouth and the same changeable LCD eyes. While Skelly’s Dog (and three-pack of Ultra-Poseable Skeletons) sold out in well under an hour, there are more friends joining the monster mash this year, too.

One newcomer is a fiery, 12.5-foot Giant-Sized Inferno Deadwood Skeleton ($379), a leafless horror who looks like a nightmare version of Groot with built-in color-changing lights. It’s sure to scare the living sap out of onlookers, but if you’re looking for something a bit more traditional, you can also nab an officially-licensed seven-foot Animated LED Frankenstein’s Monster ($249), who says iconic lines from Universal’s 1931 Frankenstein film and has full life-like arm and facial movements.

This ghoul crew is only available online while supplies last, but never fear, because Halloween fiends can anticipate more thrills and exclusive must-have pieces announced throughout the year, including a seven-point-five-foot animated plague doctor, a nine-foot headless horseman, a six-foot card-playing skeleton called “Jack of Spades,” and more. While we have yet to hear about the comeback of the gourded with the sauce 12-foot Inferno Pumpkin Skeleton with a “refined hourglass figure” that’s been sold alongside Skelly since 2021, more announcements are still to come.

For now you can shop for 999 happy haunts (okay, maybe slightly less than that) from the Halfway to Halloween drop exclusively on HomeDepot.com. Happy haunting!
