Your guide to pre-ordering 2024 Passover meals in Charlotte for pickup, delivery
Passover is approaching, and it’s time to make meal plans for the Jewish holiday that commemorates the Israelites’ exodus from Egypt to freedom.
In 2024, Passover begins before sundown on Monday, April 22, and ends after nightfall on April 30. The Seder feast is held on the first two nights of the holiday, right after nightfall. And it’s customary to avoid leavened foods during the holiday.
Here are Charlotte restaurants, meal services and other places where you can pre-order a takeout or delivery Passover meal, along with an in-person dining option at a community Seder.
Chabad Charlotte
Location: 6619 Sardis Road Charlotte, NC 28270
Chabad Charlotte is hosting a community Seder catered by Kosher Charlotte to celebrate the first night of Passover that will include traditional Shmurah Matzah and four cups of select kosher wines.
Deadline: ASAP while space remains.
Price: $75 for adults, $50 for teenagers and $35 for children
Pickup: Dine in person on Monday, April 22 at 8:15 p.m.
Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen
Location: 4001-C Yancey Rd. #100, Charlotte, NC 28217
Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen is offering a Passover menu that comes ready to reheat, with options for main dishes including brisket, seared salmon, roasted chicken or roasted eggplant.
A Seder Plate Pack is also available, with roasted lamb bone, parsley, salt water, vegetable, one hard boiled egg, and a pint of pear and fig charoset.

Deadline: Wednesday, April 17 at 2 p.m.
Price: Varies, as items are a la carte. The Seder Plate Pack is $23.
Pickup or delivery: Tuesday, April 23 between 2-6 p.m.
Kosher Charlotte

Kosher Charlotte, a kosher catering service, is offering a full Passover menu. Choices include appetizers such as house smoked trout salad and seder plates, soups, fish dishes such as Gefilte fish and salmon, meats including braised brisket and sides such as potato kugel.

Pickup: Sunday, April 21 noon-6 p.m.
YAFO Kitchen
Location: 1231a East Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28203
YAFO’s Passover meal feeds 5-7 and includes matzo ball soup, honey-harissa braised chicken, potato kugel, za’atar roasted carrots and broccoli salad with date molasses dressing. Dessert is flourless chocolate cake. You can also add-on Shai’s holiday brisket.
