Where is Great Wolf Lodge?

The largest and newest Great Wolf Lodge water park, is located just off I-95 at 1240 Chesapeake Overlook Parkway in Perryville, less than half an hour from Newark. The location sits adjacent to Perryville's Hollywood Casino.

Maryland’s Great Wolf Lodge is the newest and biggest in the national water park chain. Its water park, attractions park and over 700 room resort opened last summer to great fanfare from around the region.

No matter the length of your stay, a pass includes access to the water park from open to close, life jackets and towels as needed and access to daily events like arts & crafts, yoga, bedtime stories and sing-a-longs.

Great Wolf Lodge Maryland's water park covers over 126,000 square feet of the resort, with slides winding in and out of the building's confines.

There are 22 individual slides varying in intensity, including two slides new to the resort's repertoire: The High Paw Holler and Forest Flume.

If you’re planning on spending a lot of time in the water park, cabanas can be reserved for guests.

Indoor cabanas come with guaranteed seating for four people, a mini fridge, a TV, overhead fan, access to a server for food and drinks and more. Premium indoor cabanas can hold up to 15 people inside the water park.

Outdoor cabanas have access to the same amenities, minus the server for food and drink.

Cabanas can only be reserved after a stay has been booked. Guests can call 888-983-9653 to inquire about pricing.

Suite and room options

Prices for rooms vary based on the time you book your stay. As of April 22, the rates a two-day stay in a standard suite for a family of four started around $264 per night.

Mid-week stays usually run cheaper. It’s usually recommended to book your stay as far in advance as possible, since rates run up the closer the booking date is to your arrival date.

Check-in times for suites are after 4 p.m. and checkouts must be before 11 a.m. However, the lobby can hold your belongings before or after these times for the family to use the water park and other amenities.

Guests making a reservation eight or more days from their arrival time have 24 hours in which to modify or cancel a reservation without penalties or fees. After that point, any modification or cancellation is subject to fees.

There are three types of suites available depending on how many are in your party and how long you plan on staying: standard, themed and platinum.

There are three standard suites available, all of which sleep between four and six people. The Family suite has two queen beds, one full sleeper sofa, one full bathroom and a living area.

The Deluxe Family suite has modifications made for a more accessible room, including an accessible bathtub or shower (this preference can be made when booking online) and a semi-private living area.

The KidCabin and Wolf Den themed suites offer sleeping areas decked out in either a cabin or wolf den themed décor. Kids get their own sleeping quarters alongside a separate living area equipped with one queen bed and one full sleeper sofa.

The sleeping quarters come with between one and two sets of bunk beds and a twin bed. Bunk beds at the resort can fit individuals under 65 inches tall.  There are also accessible options available for each themed suite. Themed suites can sleep between four and seven people, depending on which option is chosen.

Premium suites are made for bigger groups, with availability for up to 13 people. The Deluxe KidCabins and Wolf Den suites are bigger versions of the themed suites, with three queen beds, two sleeper sofas, two full bathrooms and a bunk bed.

In the premium suites, a private room separates the themed sleeping quarters from the queen beds. The Grizzly Bear Suite includes a private primary bedroom with a king bed, two queens, a sleeper sofa and two full bathrooms.

Dining packages available

Great Wolf Lodge Maryland has eight dining and beverage outlets to choose from, including a creamery, pizza and burger joint, a bar and a fine-dining restaurant.

Dining deals can be purchased when booking a reservation. There are three options to choose from that include dining credits worth $150, $200 and $250, respectively.

A Wolf Wakeup Breakfast deal can also be purchased starting at $16.99 per person.

Great Wolf's other attractions

In addition to the iconic indoor water park, Great Wolf Lodge Maryland offers some new attractions to guests looking to enjoy their stay while also staying dry.

The most popular attraction add-on is the Magiquest activity, which turns the entire resort into a live-action game. Players choose a special wand (which can be taken home at the end of the stay) and immerse themselves in a fantasy game, casting spells and fighting powerful enemies along the way. To bundle the game and wand is $34.99.

Oliver’s Mining Co. and the Moonstone Mine and Mirror Maze (say that five times fast) is another interactive experience that sends players through a challenging mirror maze before panning for gemstones at the end. The gemstones found can be purchased and taken home.

At the center of the attraction park is the Howlers Peak Ropes Course, reaching the ceiling. Attached to a harness, guests can navigate the aerial obstacle course for $14.99 per climb.

There is also a Build-a-Bear Workshop, miniature bowling alley, mini golf course and an arcade for guests to use as well. One round of bowling and mini golf both cost $7.99.

Attractions can be purchased before the stay with packages. The Wolf Pass, starting at $84.99, bundles one run at each attraction, a small candy cup and a scoop of ice cream from the creamery.

The Paw Pass, starting at $74.99, includes one Magiquest game, a $5 value card at the arcade, the scoop of ice cream and candy cup and a leather bracelet to take home. The Pup Pass, starting at $59.99, is usually recommended for younger children and toddlers. It includes one Build-A-Bear animal, a small candy cup and scoop of ice cream and a $5 voucher for the arcade.

If someone is celebrating a summer birthday at the resort, birthday basics packages can be purchased starting at $39.99 which gets you a birthday door decoration, a card in the suite, a large birthday balloon, a $10 game card and a single scoop of ice cream.

The Splashin’ Fun Family Package, perfect for a family of four, provides guests with a lunch for four, four bottles of water, four beach towels and one Great Wolf Lodge cooler for $89.99.

Summer deals and promotions

Great Wolf Lodge occasionally offers discounts and deals to save on a potential stay.

For the summer season, the resort is offering a Summer Camp-In Package available through Sep. 2 that includes a Great Wolf Lodge drawstring backpack, a neoprene life-preserver dino, an inflatable, drawable volleyball with markers, one pair of life preserver glam ears and a two ounce cotton candy buttons sheet.

First responders, AAA and AARP members can get up to 30% off their bookings for stays before Jan 31, 2025. First responders can use the offer code HEROES when booking their stay. The offer code AAA or AARP can be used, respectively, when making the room reservation.

Promotion codes cannot be combined and only valid for overnight room reservations.
