How amazing is this? Gorillas are considered to be gentle and non-aggressive animals, and watching how tenderly this gorilla holds this tiny mouse it's easy to see why they are considered to be some of the smartest primates in the world.

It would be so easy for this giant animal to hurt the tiny mouse, but instead he displays a level of kindness and care usually reserved for one of a gorilla's own offspring.

TikTok users are having a lot of feelings watching this, and @Krystal comments, "This is almost too much for me to take in." @Heather adds, "This is one of the sweetest but saddest things I have ever seen." @Dog replies, "I absolutely love how gentle they were. I wonder if the mouse was weak from being sick or if they really do have a cute little bond?"

I'm sure that could be the case, at least on the part of the gorilla. Some of you may remember Koko, a famous western lowland gorilla known for her ability to communicate using sign language, and how she famously developed a unique bond with a few adorable kittens. Koko always treated these cats very gently.

@Rylee sadly comments, "It's like both of them have find warmth in each other despite being trapped in a cage."

It's such a sweet moment that Kris caught on film, and as one TikTok user commented, "Animals. We really don't deserve them."
