Let's be honest--there are so many reasons to love dogs. As a canine owner, I would know! Not only are these four-legged angels loyal to their families and chock-full of personality, but they're also entertaining AF.

Whether a dog is striking a pose or pretending to be asleep to avoid going outside, they always make their owners smile. Sometimes, a public display of hilarity makes tons of other people smile, too! This is exactly what happened when a Golden Retriever named Camp decided to 'twerk' on a Lake Tahoe dock right after a swim. She had several people watching her at the time, and thousands more watching online!

LOL! I can't say that I've seen any dog do this before, so I can understand why she drew a bit of an audience. It looks like she's actually twerking, too! Whatever this dancing dog is doing, though, it's clear that she's having a great time. And that's what's most important!

I adore the mini story that Camp's owner posted on their Instagram account, @breezeturner. This dock is a popular spot for Lake Tahoe locals and visitors alike, so the pup had quite an audience during her little performance--and she loved it! She apparently even tried to join someone's family photo, so I'm guessing this is a very social dog. After all, she is a Golden Retriever!

A few viewers mentioned that this 'twerking' could be a sign of an itchy skin condition or even an irritating reaction to the water. It's certainly possible! It's important to give a dog a bath or shower after swimming in a lake, pond, or ocean for this exact reason, and we're sure that's precisely what Camp's owner did when they were done with their lake day. Even when a dog knows how to swim, it's always important to practice safety and awareness when taking your pup for a swim.
