Golden Retriever Cheering on Runners at a Colorado Race Is Too Sweet
Anyone who is willing to put the time and effort to run a race deserves all the praise. Running is no joke. It takes a certain person to physically and mentally run any type of race. But with a little support and furry motivation, it can get done.
TikTok user @heidiandlily's dad was running in the Imogene Pass race in Colorado over the weekend. And being the supportive pup she is, this dog went along with mom to cheer him on. This dog outdid herself and was easily the best fan out there. Take a look!

O.M.G. Stop it! This is seriously too precious. If we knew dogs were spectators and wore encouraging signs, then maybe we'd consider running a race. Can anyone confirm that doggy fans are at all races or will we have to start training for this Telluride, Colorado-based run? LOL!
We're wondering if this doggy got the inspiration from a very famous furry fan. Spencer the Golden Retriever became an icon for the Boston Marathon. He was a very special and beloved dog who came out every single year since 2015 to support the runners. He, unfortunately, passed over the rainbow bridge earlier this year. But by the looks of it in this video, it seems like his legacy of cheering on runners continues on.
And who knows, maybe after this video more and more dogs will come out and support the runners. We hope they all take after this Golden Retriever because she did an excellent job giving the runners an instant mood booster. She stood there so calmly, accepting any and all pets as the runners zipped by. And don't even get us started on that doggy smile. She was having the time of her life!
