Golden Retriever Is Becoming an Ice Hockey Star With the Tricks He's Learned at the Rink
By November it may seem like we're well into the colder months, but the hockey season is just getting started. Professional hockey leagues can run from October all the way until June (for the playoffs, anyway), so the late fall is the perfect time to start getting into hockey--whether you're playing or watching!
That's why the timing of Drake the Pup Star's hockey debut is simply perfect. We don't know what exactly sparked this athletic dog and his dad to try out hockey as a new sport to enjoy together, but we're sure glad they did--he's a natural. In fact, the duo put together a November 7 TikTok video showing off some of the hockey star's new tricks.

He shoots--he scores! Drake has so much energy on the ice, and he is so much fun to watch. Whether he's standing on the boards watching Dad or zooming across the ice toward the puck, he has the biggest smile on his fluffy Golden Retriever face. We wouldn't miss it for the world.

Naturally, hockey fans are having a field day with this up-and-comer's on-ice skills. Commenter @dawnni isn't the only one who would 'pay to watch him play!' This athletic dog is worthy of the next NHL draft, if you ask us, though he seems like a perfectly happy dog playing where he is now. All that matters to him is that he's playing!
High-energy dog breeds, such as Golden Retrievers, may require extra exercise compared to smaller, older, or calmer dogs. Unfortunately, @drakethepupstar is proving just how easy it is to get creative with your dog's exercise! Whether you go for a run or rent out a hockey rink, there's no doubt hoe much fun you'll have together.
