Giant English Mastiff Getting 'Stuck' Around the House is the Definition of 'Big Dog Problems'

Anyone who has ever owned a large breed dog like a Boxer, Great Dane or English Mastiff can tell you that despite their large stature, these dogs can act like the biggest babies ever, especially when they are confused or frightened by something.

One issue that some big dogs face is the fact that they sometimes get trapped places and can't quite figure out how to turn themselves around, even though they aren't really tapped at all. Then they just sit there and wait for their owner to rescue them, like big boy Bowser in the following hilarious clip.

The adorable video was shared by the TikTok account for @bowserthemastiff and it's absolute proof that Bowser isn't the only gentle giant with big dog problems. One person commented " What a dangerous environment he has!" Another added, "He looks such a kindled gentle boy who’s scared of everything which is hilarious given his size." Another person hilariously replied, "How would I keep my bull mastiff out of a room? Leave an EMPTY reusable shopping bag in the doorway…" Poor bowser! It's so cute when he finally figures out he can roll the baseball bat away.

One thing Bowser's owner might try is tons of positive reinforcement and giving him a ton of treats to try and coax him out of these situations, but Bowser may always act this way. Just add it to the list of big dog problems!

Activities To Keep Big Dogs Amused

Big dogs needs lots of exercise

Just like with any dog, a tired dog is a well-behaved dog, and big dogs take a bit longer to wear out than smaller dogs, so make sure you are giving them sufficient and frequent walks.

Try bringing with a ball or frisbee the next time you're on a hike with your big dog, and stop at a dog-friendly park or vacant lot for a game of fetch.

Puzzle feeders can keep your big dog amused when you're trapped inside on a rainy day, and you can also try a game of hide and seek and hide one of their favorite toys for them to find.

On hot days try freezing some of your dogs favorite treats and chew toys in a bowl of ice water and then take it outside to have your dog use it as a sensory popsicle. It will keep them cool and busy too!

Speaking of hot days, even if they can't fit all the way in a kid sized plastic swimming pool, your bog dog may be amused by wading in it or using their paws to splash around!
