Bayou Bon Vivant, a Cajun music, food and art festival, kicks off at noon Friday with free admission till 2 p.m. Tickets required from 2 to 10 p.m. Friday, noon to 10 Saturday and noon to 6 Sunday. Virginia Symphony Orchestra presents “Romeo and Juliet” with JoAnn Falletta. Pungo Offroad Monsters on the Beach is back, as the annual event roars onto the sand this weekend. 7:30 p.m. Friday, noon and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday between 4th and 8th streets at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
