Our team of shopping pros has one job here at Yahoo Life: to ensure you're not wasting your hard-earned money on subpar products. That's why we spend the bulk of our time testing (and re-testing) products across categories (it's a tough job, we know). From food storage containers that actually keep things fresh to a less-than-$100 pair of AirPods alternatives, here are 10 products that impressed our experts this week — so much that they've won the title of "best" in each of their respective categories.

Portable: Yes | Supports multi-speaker pairing: Yes | Weatherproofing: IPX7 | Rated battery life: 30 hours | Ports: USB-C | Connectivity: Bluetooth | Special features: LED lighting effects; power bank

This speaker has everything you want from a portable Bluetooth speaker: It’s easily moved (thanks, '80s-boom-box-style handle), incredible battery life (up to 30 hours, which blows away the competition) and has excellent sound that, in our testing, handily beat Sonos in outdoor environments.

Maybe it's because the actual speaker is physically large as well, weighing in at around 12 pounds. That makes it the heaviest player in the group we tested (by a lot), though there's an added benefit to the arm workout you'll get from carrying it: The Blast's battery has so much capacity, you can use it as a power source to charge your phone or another device. There's a USB-C port tucked away inside the rear panel, which means more battery life for all of your devices.

The StormBox Blast comes ready to party: It's IPX7-rated water resistant and therefore weather resistant (meaning you could literally submerge it and it would keep playing) and outfitted with color-changing LEDs that bounce in time with the music. A clearly marked button on the control panel toggles between two lighting modes and no lighting at all.

Sizes: 5 to 12 | Colors: 21 | Type of shoe: Sneakers

When we polled staffers about the best Hokas they've ever tried, there was a resounding winner: the Cliftons. "They're absolutely cloud-like," raved Yahoo Deputy Editor Izabella Zaydenberg. "They were the only shoes that didn't exacerbate my plantar fasciitis (especially when I walked for hours at Disneyland)."

Rebecca Carhart, Yahoo fashion and beauty writer, said she wears them every time she goes for a long walk — be it on the treadmill, a trail or around town. "The cushioned sneakers are undoubtedly the most comfortable walking shoe I've ever tried, and I loved that there was no break-in time," Carhart noted.

Our editors also found the knit upper to be breathable, and the rubber sole provided great traction. "While they're definitely a little bulky, they're still really lightweight and comfortable enough for all-day wear," Zaydenberg said. The sneakers come in regular and GTX (waterproof) styles and both regular and wide sizes, helpful since Zaydenberg found them a bit narrow. And they come in a wide range of colors, so it's easy to find a favorite style (or two).

Material: 18/8 stainless steel | Cap: Standard mouth, Wide mouth, Flex straw or Flex chug | Volume: 24, 32, 40 or 64 ounces

The Hydro Flask Insulated Water Bottle topped our list when testing the best water bottles. It offers resilience, practicality and — thanks to numerous cap and capacity options — customization.

The pliable loop on the cap made for agile carrying, while the Flex straw option provided quick access to water. The double-wall vacuum insulation kept our drinks cold for the promised 24 hours, and the entire water bottle proved dishwasher safe — making it easy to clean.

Our home writer, Kristin Granero, has owned and used Hydro Flask Insulated Water Bottles for several years and, despite countless drops and washing cycles, found that it remains leakproof and still looks like new, with no chipping or fading.

Pros
  • Insulated
  • Spill-proof
  • Dishwasher-safe
  • Wide shade/lid selection
  • Lifetime limited warranty
Cons
  • Pricey

Size: 16.3 x 21 x 18.6 in. (12.4 x 13.4-in. cooking surface) | Weight: 44 lbs. | Fuel type: Wood and gas | Warranty: 1 year; 5 years with registration

The Gozney Roccbox is a futuristic-looking pizza oven pod that, according to the experts we interviewed, manages to strike the perfect balance between performance and convenience. “Its dual-fuel compatibility (gas and wood) offers flexibility, and the built-in thermometer ensures accurate temperature control. I use it both at home and during outdoor events like barbecues and picnics. The quick preheating and easy cleanup make it ideal for spontaneous pizza nights," says Craig Agranoff, founder and editor-in-chief of WorstPizza.com, a pizza review and directory site that covers restaurants nationwide. “It’s a great option for people who don't have the space for a larger oven like the Dome,” adds Mangieri (more on the Dome to come). “It’s also portable, which makes it incredibly versatile.”

We tested the Roccbox and can attest to its convenience (it came fully assembled, was quick to start and fired up in about 15 minutes) and versatility (for a smaller oven, it still has enough room to cook a 12-inch pizza, as well as other food items, though we’d advise using a pan for messier sauces and meats). Retractable legs are convenient — and safe — for propping the oven on a table or taking it on the go.

The oven has a special coating which keeps it from scorching (we were able to touch it lightly without burning our fingers, though as with any hot device you’ll want to heed caution) and it’s sold in four finishes — from bright Olive to bold Black, including a special-edition Ranger green shade. Each Roccbox comes with a detachable gas burner and a professional pizza peel (worth $85), adding to its overall value.

Cost: $5.50 | Application type: Solid | Active Ingredients: Aluminum zirconium trichlorohydrex GLY (20%), allantoin, jojoba seed oil, ginger root extract | Features: Allantoin to minimize irritation | Scents Available: Stone, Redwood, Fig, Shiso, and Wildlands | Longevity: 48 hours

There's a lot about Harry's Odor & Enhanced Sweat Control Extra-Strength Antiperspirant that impressed us. First and foremost: It works for 48 hours to both minimize odors and stop sweat before it starts thanks to a 20% formulation of Aluminum zirconium trichlorohydrex GLY, or in simplest terms, the salt that blocks sweat. Dr. Amy Forman Taub, a board-certified dermatologist and founder of Advanced Dermatology tells Yahoo Life, "Antiperspirants are formulated with aluminum salts, which work by forming a temporary plug in the sweat ducts — specifically the eccrine glands — thus preventing you from sweating."

This combo deodorant and antiperspirant will minimize sweat production while its deodorizing properties will keep you smelling fresh thanks to a variety of earthy and woodsy scents. It's formulated with allantoin to help minimize skin irritation and is free from potentially harmful parabens. To top it all off, it sells for less than $6 per stick.

Material: Tritan plastic or glass bases with plastic lids | Care: Plastic containers are dishwasher-, freezer- and microwave-safe (bases and lids) | Quantity: 24 pieces

We found these Rubbermaid Brilliance Food Storage Containers to be durable yet lightweight, the flip-style lids easy to clean and, when locked, airtight. Based on our experience, the containers are also odor- and stain-resistant, so they still smell fresh and look like new after being used to store colorfully sauced foods such as marinara and hot wings.

Unlike some other plastic containers on the market, these containers have excellent clarity — especially helpful when you need to identify food quickly or navigate a fully stocked fridge. Another biggie: The bases and the lids in both the plastic and glass versions of this set are dishwasher-, freezer- and microwave-safe. A mix of small, medium and large containers stack together beautifully for orderly storing and transporting. Did we mention the set is also an Amazon No. 1 bestseller with over 69,000 five-star reviews? Of note, Rubbermaid also offers one-compartment and multi-compartment sets, as well as pantry storage.

Cleaning modes: Clean, soft, whitening and massage | Battery life: Up to two months

This Aquasonic electric toothbrush is so popular, it’s a top-seller on Amazon. One of our editors has been using it for a few months now and found that one charge can last up to a full month — so there's no need to keep the charging pad out on the bathroom vanity all the time.

The toothbrush is equipped with a powerful motor that provides 40,000 vibrations per minute, which left our tester's mouth feeling extra clean after every use.

We also found the two-minute timer (to ensure users meet the recommended brush time) surprisingly helpful. There are four cleaning modes to choose from: clean, soft, whitening and massage, and it comes with eight brush heads.

Best for: Plantar fasciitis, hammertoe, overpronation and bunions | Athletic style: Walking | Material: Leather | Colors available: White, yellow, gray, black | Sizes available: Women's: 6-9 in whole and half sizes for 10, 11 (wide available) Men's: 8-13 whole sizes only (wide available)

Designed by one of New York's most prominent podiatrists, Nelya Lobkova, DPM, the Klaw 528 orthopedic shoe alleviates foot and joint issues caused by conditions such as hammertoe, plantar fasciitis, overpronation and bunions. The shoe offers a deep, supportive heel cup, medial and lateral arch support, and a rocker outsole — a feature our experts tell us should always be featured in a great orthotic shoe. The extensive cushioning in the midsole provides and maintains pain relief, especially for those who have plantar fasciitis.

The women's Klaw 528 runs a bit wide, which is great for those with wide feet; however, the wider heel paired with the deep heel cup could lead to heel rubbing for those with narrow feet.

Pros
  • Heel-to-forefoot cushioning
  • Water-resistant leather
  • Firm arch support

Screen size: 15 inches | Resolution: 1,600 x 1,200 | Storage: Cloud (unlimited) | Touchscreen: No | Orientation options: Landscape/portrait | Motion sensor: Yes | Dedicated email address: Yes

Our tech editor called the screen of the Aura Walden the "brightest and sharpest" he's ever seen — making it a top choice if you're looking for a gift.

You can upload photos in advance and even set it up for use with the recipient's Wi-Fi network — great for grandparents or anyone who's not super tech-savvy. This setup can work a little differently depending on whether you purchase from Aura or a retail partner like Amazon, so be sure to read Aura's gifting page to learn more.

The Aura app is one of the few that flags photos you've already sent, making it handy for avoiding duplicates. Friends and family can use that app as well, or send photos directly to the frame via email. The built-in motion sensor not only detects when people are present, but also adjusts screen brightness depending on the room's ambient light.

This is the rare frame that doesn't have a touch screen. All settings are managed in the app. Our tester found this a bit inconvenient at first but, after getting used to it, realized that little detail helped to keep the screen free of fingerprints.

Because the Aura Walden relies solely on cloud storage, it requires a full-time Wi-Fi connection. If there's an outage, or you try setting this up somewhere without a Wi-Fi network, you won't be able to see any photos.

  • Unlimited cloud storage with no monthly fees

Ear detection: Yes | Companion app: Yes | Multipoint connectivity: Yes | Case charging: USB-C or wireless | Rated battery life: 7 hours on a charge | Ear tips included: 4 sizes

Perfect. That's how we'd describe 1More's Aero earbuds.

In our testing, the Aero buds come closest to matching every AirPods Pro feature — most notably spatial audio, which makes it sound as if it's coming from all around you, but also tracks head movements. For example, if you're watching a movie on your phone and you turn your head, the sound will shift, so that it seems as if it's still coming from the screen. Same thing with music: It creates a sort of focal point for your listening. AirPods Pro do an amazing job with this; the effect is a little less pronounced on the Aero earbuds, but it's still great to have this feature at this price point.

We also liked 1More's Smart Loudness option: It dynamically adjusts bass, mids and highs, the idea being to preserve the full range of sound at all volumes.

The Aero earbuds have great sound too. Some equalizer fiddling is helpful to get music exactly the way you like it, but overall I found audio to be deep, well-balanced and very pleasant. The noise-canceling capabilities were solid and the stock medium-size ear tips were comfy, at least in my ears.

Pros
  • Superb sound
  • Supports spatial audio
  • Frequently on sale
Cons
  • Incomplete instruction manual
  • Poor implementation of white-noise sounds
