Former ‘Law & Order: SVU’ Actress Kelli Giddish Announces Birth of Third Child With First Photo

Kelli Giddish just shared a huge surprise with fans!
The former Law & Order: Special Victims Unit actress previously shared that she was pregnant with her third child—her first with her second husband, Beau Richards, whom she married in 2021.
But on Sept. 14, Giddish shared the first photo of the little one, revealing that he was born in June. The 43-year-old successfully kept the birth under wraps before introducing her newborn son to everyone.
Alongside a beautiful black-and-white photo of both Giddish and Richards cuddling with the baby, she wrote, "My husband and I welcomed Oldie Richards on June 20th and we are so in love and so very grateful."
Talking about their time together so far, Giddish went on, "Oldie- you’ve brought immeasurable JOY to me and your daddy and your two brothers (and your grandparents and aunts and uncles!). You wake up smiling and the light you bring to each moment is truly incredible. ♥️♥️♥️."
The congratulations from friends and fans flooded in on social media, with actor Michael Benjamin Washington commenting, "Congratulations, Kelli and Fam!!"
"What a sweetheart!! Congratulations to you two and the boys!! ❤️❤️," wrote one fan, followed by another who added, "What a cute little guy! Congrats on the newest addition, fam! 😘💙."
Baby Oldie joins Giddish's two other children, sons Ludo, 7, and Charlie, 4, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Lawrence Faulborn. The two got married in 2015 and were together until their divorce in 2018.
Giddish is well-known for her role as Detective Amanda Rollins in Law & Order: SVU. She joined the show in season 13 and quickly became a core part of the team. Giddish departed the show in 2023 during season 24.
