Feisty Boston Terrier Puppy Gives Mom an Adorable Dose of Attitude in the Car

Meet Stella, an adorable Boston Terrier puppy with a big dog attitude. Her mom shared a video at the end of March showing just how big her attitude is and it will totally make you smile!

The video starts with Stella strapped into the car, ready to go on an adventure with her mom. Mom says in the caption that she took too long getting in the car so of course Stella threw a fit. Make sure your sound is up and watch until the end when mom mentions a time out - Stella's side eye game is strong!

I would love to get that adorable attitude! Stella thinks she's tough, but the mention of a time out puts her back in check! I wasn't the only one who adored Stella - people left more than 2,500 comments about the cute video. @Cassandra Athas laughed, "She looked so offended when you said she was going to time out!" @Millie said, "You upset the little cuteness! Now you owe her a pup cup!!"

Do Boston Terriers Make Good Pets?

@dawn.oconnor320 swooned, "Oh my! Now I need a Boston Terrier! Never wanted a small dog until this little bit!" This made me wonder, do Boston Terriers make good pets? As with all dog breeds, there are pros and cons to owning them.

Boston Terriers are a pretty laid-back breed. They get along well with children and with the elderly and love to cuddle. They are quiet, and not known to be big barkers like some breeds. They are also friendly with strangers...which of course means they wouldn't make good guard dogs!

These terriers are energetic and love to play, but don't mind snoozing on the couch either. They don't require a whole lot of grooming and don't shed much. Bostons also have quirky, charming personalities and never meet strangers - everybody is a friend! Overall, they're known to be lovers and not fighters.

On the flip side, these dogs are known to be stubborn and can be sullen at times. Because they are stubborn, they can be hard to potty train and even train basic commands simply because they don't want to. As another Pet Helpful article mentioned, "Their intelligence does not supersede their occasional need for insolent retribution."

I know all dogs love to eat, but Bostons are known to be little piggies and will overeat given the chance. "The breed comes with a voracious appetite with a tendency toward gluttony. Therefore, owners must be careful with diet and not hand over human table scraps or sugary foods, which often contribute to canine diabetes." They have other health issues as well; they are susceptible to glaucoma and also are known to wheeze a lot.

Like I said, there are pros and cons to every breed so make sure to do your own research. Buying a puppy because it's cute and then realizing the breed's cons don't fit into your lifestyle is one of the main reasons people end up dropping dogs off at shelters, so make sure that you know what you are getting yourself into.
