“I feel like unexpected layers are such a missed opportunity,” May said. “So like adding a shirt under a slip dress or like a button-up over a jacket which is something I haven't played with a ton but I am excited to experiment with this fall.”

“Do whatever you want,” the New Yorker advised. “It’s ok to wear things that make you look bulky or if you want to wear a crop top with jeans go for it! You are beautiful the way you are, so rock what you got.”

“The thing I tell everyone to get is a moto jacket because they literally go with everything and it is my favorite thing,” Thorpe shared. “You can layer them and style with everything. Of course, you can’t go wrong with the classic black but I love when you find a moto jacket that is even printed or in a bold color.”

“Crop jackets,” she shared when asked about her fall style tip. “I love them because they accentuate the waist and keep you warm at the same time. I am also a huge fan of DIY'ng and tailoring looks to your own personal preference. Get crafty with it.”
