Lisa Rinna’s beauty brand is expanding. Rinna Beauty launched its first collection of Bright Eyes Under Eye Patches on Wednesday.

The collection of hydrogel cooling eye patches are designed to cool, soothe and prep the delicate under-eye area for dark circles and puffiness. “Bright Eyes are not slimy eye patches, they are actually fabric backed, so they don’t move once placed under the eye,” Rinna told WWD. “They have cooling ingredients to remove the puffiness and dark circles. They can be used right before makeup application as they aren’t drenched with product.”
Rinna’s interest in creating her own line of eye patches stems from her own experiences with the skin care product. “What inspired me to experiment with under eye patches is that I have worn them in my career for years now, and I’ve really, really tried all kinds,” the actress said. “So, I got to find out what I liked, what I didn’t like, and I put it all together and made ones that were everything that I loved.”
The eye patches feature active ingredients such as coconut oil, carob and seaweed/red algae that work in tandem to restore skin’s natural barrier and prevent moisture loss. The seaweed (chondrus crispus) ingredient offers protection from the effects of blue light exposure. “We are exposed to so much blue light today between computers, cell phones and TVs, we need this ingredient,” Rinna said.
Rinna often wears the patches as a pre-makeup application ritual, an essential part of her beauty routine. “If I’m going to an event, I always wear them right before I do my makeup or during my makeup. I wear them all the time if I’m feeling a little bit down. I put on the eyepatch, and it perks me right up,” she said.
Rinna launched Rinna Beauty in September 2020 with her inaugural collection of lip care products. Two years later, Rinna’s collection expanded with the addition of eye makeup products. In August 2022, her beauty brand was made available on Amazon.
