It was all black everything for celebrities at Sunday’s 2018 Golden Globes, in protest of sexual misconduct in Hollywood and in support of Time’s Up. Attendees from Emma Watson to nominee William H. Macy shared with Yahoo what inspired their decisions to go dark.

But it wasn’t just the show-goers at the high-profile awards event wearing the color and sharing their #WhyWeWearBlack stories. Stars who watched the Globes being handed out from home, at viewing parties, or even from their sickbeds (get well soon, Anne Hathaway and Amy Schumer!) showed solidarity for the mission by posting photos of their black on social media — and saying why they wore it.
