Good news for the Euphoria star who says she needs season three so she can pay her rent, production will commence in just a couple of months, as per GQ.

Sydney Sweeney told them in an interview that "people will be really amazed with what season three becomes".

The high school drama follows a group of students navigating a life of drugs, sex, and violence and features popular rising stars Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie, Angus Cloud, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Javon 'Wanna' Walton, Eric Dane, Storm Reid and Sydney Sweeney.

"I think that's good because seasons one and two were so different," Sweeney told GQ of season three.

She may not have given much else away about what to expect, but she did have a response when asked about a potential season four: "That one I honestly don't know. I think that if there's more story to tell with Cassie then, yes, because I do love that role and I love the community, but it's whatever does the story justice."

Chairman and CEO of HBO and Max Content, Casey Bloys, revealed to Deadline in January that the series' creator, Sam Levinson, was "busy writing" and the reason for the delay was that "there's a lot of schedules that [they] have to align."

In January, Bloys had seen three scripts and said that Levinson has "got a lot in store for these characters" and told Deadline "I'm excited".

When will Euphoria season three be complete, however? The answer to that question is yet to be confirmed, but audiences can likely expect it sometime in 2025.
