Enduro Pro Schralps Dusty Corners On Bike Park Day

In Pro Racing, people in the Southern Hemisphere have a true advantage. They race the entire season in the Northern Hemisphere, and as racing finishes up in the fall, they mosey back home where SUmmer is just starting up.

Jack Moir takes full advantage of this. Watch the Aussie rip down Thredbo Bike Par below.

In this video, Moir shows off his cornering prowess on some hero dirt with a satisfying schralp.

Jack Moir has a very distinct look on the bike. Part of this is his setup choices. Moir Opts to size down and run a very high front end. His current YT Capra is called an XL, but the 487 reach number puts it only just above the size of large frames from other manufacturers.

Jack Moir is an enduro pro from Australia with a unique story. As a longtime downhill racer, he was a consistent competitor for top 10 results. After the 2019 season, he lost the game of musical chairs and was left without a sponsor. Canyon stepped in and offered him a sponsorship to race enduro. With no other option, Moir made the switch.

After promising results in the abridged COVID season of 2020, Moir burst onto the scene in 2021, winning 5 of the rounds and taking the overall. 2022 was also a success and Jack got 5 podiums and finished 4th in the overall.

2023 was slightly rocky for Jack. He battled injuries and illness and switched bike sponsors, but still managed top-10 results at four of the six races he started

Moir has the whole offseason to get dialed in on this bike for next year. We at Bikemag are excited to see what he has in store for 2024.
