Elizabeth Hurley enjoyed a well-deserved night on the town, her first in more than a year, to the ballet.

"First night out in 14 months and I am going to the ballet," the British bombshell declared in a Thursday Instagram video that captured her strutting down a staircase wearing a black dress with a plunging neckline. Although the 55-year-old didn't share the name of the performance, she tagged Royal Albert Hall in South Kensington, London, where dancers from eight different ballet companies are featured in the British Ballet Charity Gala.

The actress, who is vaccinated against COVID-19 courtesy of the AstraZeneca vaccine, is a ballet lover, having been photographed at a performance in 2018.

Hurley spent most of the pandemic holed up with her family in the English countryside and taking "pretend vacations" (ahem, posting bikini photos). “I’m so fed up with being at home, I’m pretending I’m away and am living vicariously through my camera roll for the next ten days," The Piper star shared on Instagram, following former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan's public remarks that her sexy photos were offensive.

In January, Morgan suggested that Hurley "put clothes on" after she posted a topless pic taken in the snow while mocking the possibility that Hurley had asked her teenage son Damien to snap them. Hurley responded on Twitter: “Far be it for me to suggest the tabloids get their facts muddled, but these pics were in fact taken by my 80 year old mother. Not entirely sure if that puts minds at rest or not.”

But Hurley had the last laugh when asked about the backlash in a May Extra interview sharing that her bikini photos are a promotional play for her swimsuit brand — not a cry for help. “I think people are mean to women and I don’t think it’s how people should be," said Hurley. "So I can’t say I am a fan of those sorts of comments, really.”
