Who Was Eliminated in 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 16 Episode 8?

It's time to play the Snatch Game! After an extremely early version of the challenge in Season 15, RuPaul's Drag Race's most famous maxi-challenge is back at its usual mid-season point once again. With Megami eliminated last week, our nine remaining queens impersonated famous celebrities in the iconic and comedic reimaging of The Match Game. James Brown, Meghan McCain and Amelia Earhart all entered the Snatch Game pantheon in performances both good and bad.

Plus, this week we got the reading challenge, Kyra Sedgwick as a guest judge and a dance-themed runway before the field was narrowed to the final eight queens.

Who was eliminated in the RuPaul's Drag Race Season 16 Episode 8?

Xunami Muse

The writing was on the wall a bit for New York's Xunami Muse. The queen broke the record this season for most consecutive weeks being safe, maxing out at six. Without ever receiving strongly positive critiques, it seemed like only a matter of time before she fell into the bottom and her lackluster creation of the Gold Tooth Fairy seemed to lack direction. Despite winning the reading challenge early in the episode, Xunami tumbled into the bottom with Morphine Love Dion. Xunami's lip sync didn't quite muster the emotion in that of her sister, and she became the sixth queen eliminated this season.

Who won Episode 8 of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 16?

Plane Jane

The Russian/Bostonian queen took home her second win of the season this week in the Snatch Game. Plane Jane opted to play Serbian pop star Jelena Karleusa in the celebrity impersonation challenge and edged out Sapphira Cristal's James Brown for the win. Many past Snatch Game winners have gone on to take home the crown, so this is certainly a strong vote of confidence for Plane Jane.

Which queens have immunity?

Sapphira Cristal and Plane Jane secured immunity during the season's premiere, and Sapphira used her potion during Episode 6. Plane Jane, who won this week, elected not to use her immunity, meaning she's safe to use it again in the future. However, Ru also informed us this week that Plane Jane will only have two more opportunities to use the potion meaning Episode 10 (or the top seven) will be her last chance.
