Dramatic Bloodhound Greets His Neighbors in the Most Enthusiastic Way

Spending time with dogs can be fun, relaxing, and downright hilarious, whether they're snuggling up on the couch or scaring themselves with their own toots. You really never know what to expect from them! One thing you can always count on, though, is their enthusiasm when you come home.

Dog greetings are some of the best in the world, even when the dog isn't your own. Rescue dog @harry_and_pals' parents were in their driveway when the neighbor's bloodhound decided to say hello. This wasn't any ordinary greeting, though--it was the most dramatic one I've ever seen!

Now, that was a howl if I ever heard one! This happy dog couldn't have been more enthusiastic if he tried (and believe us, he tried). He gave his all to that greeting, and it paid off beautifully. This hound dog now has so many online fans he doesn't even know about!

For this dramatic pup's neighbor and the rest of us who don't own hounds, hearing a hello like this is truly special. For bloodhound owners, though, it's just another greeting!

Commenter @ladyvyxenclaw confirmed that this is a "standard Bloodhound greeting. Also, if they love you, that's how they say farewell too." So cute! Every dog shows their love in their own unique ways, but an enthusiastic howl has to be one of my favorites. My Husky-Malamute is about as vocal as they come, but even he saves howls for special occasions.

Speaking of talking Huskies, there have been so many viral videos of them talking and barking in the cutest ways--but are hounds just as vocal? Some of them might actually be more talkative than Huskies, thanks to their loud, deep bark. The sound of hounds' voices can carry a long way, but how often they use it depends on the individual.

Those loud voices certainly come in handy for greetings like this!
