DPL turns the page for next book group

Apr. 5—A community book discussion group will continue at the Duncan Public Library (DPL) in April.

DPL Outreach Coordinator Jessica Allmon said DPL will host its fourth discussion group for Let's Talk About It Oklahoma, a book discussion series, at 6 p.m. April 11.

Allmon said for this book, DPL will dig into "Cozy" by Parnell Hall with Dr. Nyla Ali Khan leading the discussion.

According to Allmon, for anyone interested in the book, they can borrow a copy at the library circulation desk or find a copy near the new audiobooks.

The final scheduled book discussion will take place May 9 for the book, "One for the Money" by Janet Evanovich with Caroline Larsen leading the discussion group.

All events will take place at 6 p.m. at the Duncan Public Library.

According to Allmon, the book discussion group is made possible because of a grant from Oklahoma Humanities, as well as funding and support from Kirkpatrick Family Fund, McCasland Foundation, Oklahoma City Community Foundation, Union Pacific and Oklahoma City University.

DPL is located at 3785 N. Highway 81 in Duncan.
