Donatella Versace turned out at Wednesday night’s amfAR gala looking oh, so very Donatella. The designer, who was honored at the festivities, rocked a metallic rose-gold gown with a thigh-high slit and cowl neckline.

The shiny number was another stunning look for Versace and looked a lot like the rose-gold dress Michelle Obama wore to the Italian state dinner last October. Michelle’s dress, designed by the house of Versace, was structured quite differently, with a more gathered silhouette and asymmetrical neckline.

Obama’s dress also appears to be a deeper rose-gold hue than Versace’s lighter, more pinkish tone.

The house of Versace has been having a great week. Not only did several amfAR attendees turn out in looks from her label, but also Lady Gaga performed her Super Bowl halftime show in several glittering Atelier Versace looks.

Which dress do you prefer — Michelle’s or Donatella’s?
