President Joe Biden threw a massive New York City fundraiser last Thursday that brought in over $26 million in just a few hours. It was a swanky event that had all of the Hollywood and Washington, D.C. glitz and glam that you would expect during a presidential campaign year. It was a rousing success for the Democrats, but there’s reportedly one person who was not pleased: Donald Trump.

He reportedly wants a bigger and better fundraiser than the 46th president, and he wants to nab Madison Square Garden to rival Joe Biden’s Radio City Music Hall event. “Trump is planning several big fundraisers to compete with Biden’s Radio City big-buck haul,” a Page Six source explained of the former president’s alleged jealousy. Joe Biden’s night brought out former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, along with host Mindy Kaling, Lea Michele, Queen Latifah, and Stephen Colbert.

The Donald Trump insider added that Donald Trump’s event will be “for ‘all the people,’ not just the richest ones.” That means a price range of tickets and a plan to raise more money than Joe Biden because it always has to be a competition for some reason. “He wants it to be available to all levels of people not just $100,000 donors. Madison Square Garden or Yankee Stadium, and similar arenas, have been mentioned [as venues],” they added. “This would allow there to be tickets as low as $100, and as high as $500,000, and even a $1 million ticket to outdo Biden.”

Donald Trump’s spokesperson Steven Cheung, who always has a colorful statement to share, told Fox News Digital that the former president was too busy honoring the life of a fallen NYPD officer to pay attention to Joe Biden’s fundraiser. “Meanwhile, the Three Stooges — Biden, Obama and Clinton — were at a glitzy fundraiser in the city with their elitist, out-of-touch celebrity benefactors,” he said. However, Donald Trump has a lot of catching up to do in terms of raising money. Joe Biden reportedly has $155 million in the coffers compared to Donald Trump’s $42 million as of late February, per the New York Post.

Before anyone goes booking their ticket to New York City to attend Donald Trump’s event, they might want to hear what Madison Square Garden reps have to say. “We do not have any events scheduled with the Trump organization at this time,” they told Page Six. So, Donald Trump’s big, grand event is TBD for now.
