I Didn’t Believe Volumizing Shampoos Worked Until I Tried Jennifer Garner’s Go-To Formula

Frankly, the idea that shampoo can magically bestow bounce to limp hair has given me pause in the past, and so-called volumizing shampoos have fallen, well, flat. It wasn’t until I tried the Full Shampoo and Conditioner Duo from Virtue, fueled by my love for the brand’s Kim Kardashian-used Recovery shampoo set, that I proved myself wrong.

From a sensorial standpoint, the formulas are fantastic: The shampoo creates a fluffy, satisfying lather, and the conditioner provides ample slip, allowing me to rake it through my tangle-prone tresses. As with all Virtue products, both smell luxurious.
I’m hardly alone in my love for Virtue’s bodifying formulas; Jennifer Garner, a brand ambassador, deems the Full Shampoo and Conditioner as two of her favorites. In her words, via a video on Virtue’s site, the set produces “healthier, literally stronger, fuller hair.” I couldn’t agree more.
Furthermore, shoppers—many of whom struggle with flat hair—swear by the plumping powers Virtue’s formulas provide. One shopper, who is over 65, says the set is perfect for “older people whose hair is losing shine and elasticity.” Another, also over 65, says the shampoo and conditioner give their “super fine” and “thin” hair “body” and fullness.
