A Devastated Kat Plans a Rescue on an Intense Episode of 'The Way Home'

Ponderers, how heartbroken were you for Kat (Chyler Leigh) in the final scene of last week's episode of The Way Home? With a mere moments and feet away from reaching Jacob (Spencer Macpherson), now an adult, Kat has her baby brother ripped away from her yet again when soldiers take him into custody for treason.

We've also reached the halfway point in season 2 and are heading toward the season finale. Even though Alice's (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) attempt to Parent Trap her mom and Elliot (Evan Williams) doesn't go as planned, there was a sweet moment from last week's episode when Del (Andie MacDowell) and Sam (Rob Stewart) take a dip into the ocean bay like two teenagers. Kudos to MacDowell and Stewart, who dove into chilly Canadian waters in November to film that scene!

In this week's fast paced and intense episode of The Way Home, "How to Save a Life," emotions are running high for the Landry women as Kat (Leigh) works to conjure up a rescue, while Alice sees Del through a wave of grief as old wounds are opened.
