Whichever way you dress it up - or rather, don’t - DC’s new variant covers are nothing but a thirst trap.

The Sweater Weather variant covers feature some of DC’s most iconic, fittest heroes, stripped down to their briefs for fun in the cold weather and hot tub.

Due for release in the bleak winter months of February, the variant covers feature Batman by artist Kevin Wada, Superman by Ariel Diaz, Titans by Dan Mora, and Birds of Prey by Pablo Villalobos. And Beast Boy as a penguin, which we’re very much into. Don't kink shame us.

In much more tasteful variant cover news, DC will release a series of cool anime-style covers to celebrate Black History Month, featuring Wonder Woman, Green Arrow and Connor Hawke, amongst others.

Meanwhile, Birds of Prey star Harley Quinn can be found over on HBO Max, now that her adult animated show has just been renewed for a fifth season.

DC is rolling along with James Gunn's movie series rebooting the DC Universe - Superman: Legacy enters production in early 2024, and Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow has secured an "amazing" writer.
