Forget the bad dad puns and stories about “back in the day” that always elicit an eyeroll from children. This dad has taken things to the next level when it comes to ribbing his kid by hilariously recreating his daughter’s selfies.

Chris Martin of Spokane, Wash., (not to be confused with the lead singer of Coldplay) copied his daughter’s flower crown Snapchat filter and even created fake tattoos to match hers, and then he put on his best duck face for the camera. Daughter Cassie Martin shared their selfies side-by-side on her Facebook page and captioned them “My father harasses me on social media,” clearly showing she has a sense of humor, too.

The flower crown photo has garnered more than 25,000 likes and has been shared more than 15,000 times. Commenters such as Tyler Andrews wrote, “Father of the year award, he deserves it!” while user Dario Andrade II wrote, “Your dad is legend.”

This isn’t the first time the funny father has recreated his daughter’s selfies. Back in April, Cassie shared on Twitter another side-by-side photo with her dad wearing similar printed pants and a crop top revealing a drawn-on tattoo — and of course, making a duck face. But Martin isn’t just trying to get a laugh. The protective dad is using humor to send his daughter an important message to think about what you put out on social media. In one of his Instagram posts, Martin wrote: “So my daughter has been posting sexy selfies of herself and instead of telling her to stop, well, I thought of something better.” Father of the year, indeed.
