Dad Surprises Daughter With a Mini Cow and Her Response Is Priceless

It's not unusual for kids to ask for pets for Christmas, and their reactions to actually getting one on the big day is always fun to watch. @Barstool Sports shared a video on Wednesday, December 27th of one dad surprising his daughter with an unexpected gift, and her reaction is the best!

The video starts with the girl sitting on the floor at the foot of the stairs petting her dogs. She doesn't know it, but her dad comes in behind her with an adorable mini cow wearing a big red bow. When she turns around and sees them, she immediately breaks into tears. Watch until the end because you've got to see her face!

Just like a teen, she immediately grabbed the phone for pictures and a video, I'm sure. It's instant love, and when she realizes that the little guy has horns, her face is just priceless! Commenters couldn't get over all the cuteness. One commenter pointed out, "It’s just a fluffy Dalmatian!" while another shouted, "Omg, so FLUFFY!" And of course, now I want a mini cow, too!

Do Mini Cow's Make Good Pets?

In short, yes! Mini cows are gentle, social, and totally adorable. They love getting cuddles and are good with children. Mini cows really are small - they grow to 36-48 inches tall and weigh no more than about 500 pounds. They're playful (like big puppies!), very curious, and enjoy playing with toys and with humans. And just like dogs, they are easy to take care of, and love attention.

Can you bring them into the house? To make an introduction like in the @Barstool Sports video, yes. But mini cows can't live in the house. One article pointed out that mini cows go to the bathroom 10-15 times a day and cannot be house trained. Not to mention, cows like to move around a lot, and require about a half an acre to live comfortably. You don't need to have a farm, but you'll definitely need some space for them to roam around. Also, keep in mind that cows can live for up to 25 years, even the mini ones, so they're a pet that will be around for a long while...it's a long-term commitment.

Another perk of having a mini cow as a pet is that they are able to produce milk. They can produce up to a gallon of milk per pump and can be pumped up to four times a day. That's a lot of milk!

Worth mentioning is that this is not a cheap pet to purchase. Pricing starts in the thousands. Depending on how mini you want your cow, coloring, markings, and breed, prices go up. All that being said, I still want one for myself and from the comments on this video, so do a lot of other people!
