Dachshunds ‘Harmonizing’ by the Window Are the Picture of Cuteness Overload

If you have a Dachshund, then you know these are very *ahem* vocal dogs. Yep, these pups will certainly let you know what they're thinking, feeling, or even if they have a little song in their heart. Just like two pups online, who had people cracking up with their "duet."

The two dogs, Sid and Nancy, were caught having a moment by the window recently.

Dachshunds are known for their howling, but when it's two pups at once things go to a whole new level. As the video shows, the two dogs were staring outside when they started howling together. Or as their owner joked, it was "living proof that canine singers can harmonize."

Like all great musical duos, these two certainly have chemistry. They sound perfectly aligned and are definitely singing the same song. It's like they're Sonny and Cher or Simon and Garfunkel — they make quite a pair!

Luckily for these two, it seems like their impromptu music video has won over tons of people on the internet. Commenters were now bonafide fans.  "A most beautiful melody!" cheered one commenter. "Why do they sound better then mine. Mine should take some lessons for real," someone else pointed out. "I see an album in their future," another commenter joked. "I swear Dachshund all share one brain cell," one woman teased.

Dachshunds Are Vocal

Dachshunds have lots of positive qualities. They're obviously adorable, but besides being absolute cuties, these dogs are bright, loyal, and courageous. They're also very energetic and have large barrel chests — making them prone to lots of and lots of barking.

Yes, they do like to howl (clearly!) but these dogs have a tendency to bark and make noise, making them less than ideal for people who live in an apartment. Although that shouldn't totally be a deterrent. These dogs are total love bugs. They are very devoted to their owners and if they're socialized from a young age, can be good with cats and kids. Dachshunds are definitely best with older kids who won't get spooked by their territorial behavior or barking. If you do have young children, make sure they're always supervised.

For the most part though, these dogs are even-tempered and affectionate. They aren't aggressive by nature, so you shouldn't ever worry about bringing them home.

Or maybe you're looking for a little more music in your life — in which case these dogs are perfect for that too.
