Dachshund Begging To Get the Same Skin Treatment as Doggy Sibling Is Going Viral

One of the most important things a parent needs to keep in mind is fairness. With children constantly fighting over wanting a specific toy, you have to make sure everyone gets their turn. Above all, you need to treat each kid equally otherwise they'll think you're playing favorites.

The funny thing is that the same goes for dog parents too. Each dog needs to equal amount of love and treats. You don't want one fur baby to think they're the second favorite. That's why TikTok user @courtneywalker_23's partner had to make sure both dogs got the same skin treatment. Take a look at this September 1 video!

O.M.G. This is too funny! We had no idea dogs could get FOMO, but this is proof that they can. Only one of this family's Dachshund dogs has skin allergies and needs to get sprayed with a topical treatment once a week. But of course, the other sibling is thinking that it's not fair she doesn't get the spray either. Sounds just like a little kid!

Other TikTokers jumped in the comments saying they have to do something similar with their dogs. One explained her dog gets a daily pill and the other gets a "placebo" pill. LOL! Another example is a dog owner giving her dog ear drops and pretending to do the same with the other dog. The things we do to keep our fur babies happy!

It can be very difficult to pinpoint exactly why your dog gets skin allergies. The most common reasons why dogs might develop skin allergies come from fleas, food, or the environment. You might've already gone to the vet to figure out why your dog is experiencing this and received antibiotics, but still no luck. Consider trying these home remedies to help with your dog's itchy skin, yeasty ears, or goopy eyes - apple cider vinegar spray, hypoallergenic treats, a simple and healthy diet, or medicated baths.
