Courtney Love appears as a guest judge on 'RuPaul's Drag Race'
A longtime fan of drag queens, Courtney Love, made an appearance as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race this week and was, surprisingly, not in love with one of the queens.
While critiquing Mayhem Miller, Love said, “I thought it was kind of blah. It was a little meh-hem.” Love was amused by her own pun, adding, “I made my first quip.”
Love, who has credited the drag community for shaping her fashion aesthetic and fearless attitude, did enjoy watching the bottom two queens up for elimination, Mayhem Miller and Yuhua Hamasaki, lip sync battle to Hole’s “Celebrity Skin.”
Both contestants went at it hard, rocking out to the song and even making the judges’ jaws drop. In the end, Hamasaki was forced to “sashay away.”
RuPaul’s Drag Race airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on VH1.
