Couples Are Now Opting for Falcons as Ring Bearers Instead of Toddlers

Couples wanting something that the guests will talk about for years to come at their wedding are now opting to have animals like falcons, hawks and owls serve as their ring bearers, instead of the traditional adorable toddlers.

Now here's one wedding we'd love to be invited to!

The above video was shared by the TikTok account for @jkapture_studios and in a recent article by The Wall Street Journal bride Jessica Huete wore a leather glove with a piece of quail meat attached to her arm to entice a falcon to land on her during the ceremony.

"We were both fighting over who would catch the bird,” Huete told the outlet of her and her husband. “I said, ‘It was my idea. I win. I’m the wife.' "

From The Raptor Events Website, the raptor ring bearer package costs $1,200 plus travel costs and includes a rehearsal with the bird, ring bearer services, photos with the bird after the ceremony and a meet and greet with the ring bearer for guests.

On their website they have  hawks, falcons, owls and a chicken. Now I want to have a vow renewal ceremony so I can have a chicken carry my own wedding rings down the aisle.

This is such a fun way to personalize your own wedding and adding birds to your ceremony is just one of the ways you can add animals to your happy day.
