Golden Retriever Makes Wedding History by Helping Give the Bride Away

This might be the sweetest dog moment at a wedding we've seen.

A bride's wedding day can be one of the most special days in her lifetime, so it's only fitting that all of her loved ones get to be there--including the dog! That's exactly why this adorable couple included their Golden Retriever in their wedding ceremony in the most special way. Needless to say, TikTok is obsessed.

Wedding photographer @sherrybrownphotocoach was lucky enough to witness and share this special moment, and we're oh-so-glad she did. We've never seen a dog give away the bride before!

Isn't this the sweetest thing? Not only does the Golden get the honor of giving away the bride, but they helped themself to the best seat in the house, too. And let's be honest--it made for the best photos and the most precious moment!

"Doggo is like 'I do,'" commented @taylasmithdesigns. They knew precisely what was going on! All it took was a gentle reminder to 'sit' and the pup was ready for the rest of the ceremony.

@Heatherharrison993 had a point when she wrote "dog: 'excuse me this is my marriage too.'" Technically--that's true! Pups are part of the family, and they should be included like family. This couple, though, went above and beyond!

"The pastor laughing is everything," said @mystik0901. "What a beautiful moment." Isn't it? Everyone in attendance, from the guests to the bride and groom themselves, seems to love this special guest appearance during the ceremony. And what's not to love? It's just like @maggiemay043 wrote: "Omg you have to love fur babies!" You really do.
