It appears that even his bus catching on fire won't stop country singer Ruston Kelly from touring!

On Sept. 10, Kelly shocked his fans when he posted a clip on Instagram depicting his tour bus in flames on the side of the highway as smoke billowed up into the sky.

The singer and his tour crew were a safe distance away, documenting the sight. In a later part of the video, emergency services could be seen by the bus addressing the situation. Kelly appropriately set the clip to his song "Hellfire."

While sharing the video, Kelly first wrote, "we’re all safe thanks for all the kind messages but HOLY F--K that was insane."

He went on to provide a little insight into what happened, saying, "Bus caught fire earlier this morning and it was crisis drill mode to get off in time. Luckily we all got most of our belongings."

Luckily, for fans of Kelly who have tickets for the singer-songwriter's upcoming shows, he shared, "Gear in the trailer is fine and a new bus is on the way so we can finish this tour totally transformed by fire."

He credited photographer and drummer John Chong with filming the footage, joking that Chong "for some reason captured this s**t so we can be haunted by it forever."

Many fellow country artists shared their support with kind messages in the comments, with Maren Morris writing, "So glad you’re all okay," and Natalie Hemby of The Highwomen saying, "Well, your music is fire so you gotta be careful where you play it 🔥…So glad you’re okay…"

There were plenty more, both artists and fans, who shared similar comments in response to the video. One fan looked on the bright side, writing, "I feel like a song will come from this. Insanely happy you guys are alright."

Kelly—who released the song "The Weakness" earlier this year and was married to Kacey Musgraves from 2017 to 2020—has a handful of tour dates left in North America this year, with his next show set for Sept. 12 in Columbus, Ohio.
