Costco Is Selling the Most Magical Bookcases for Kids & Creative Adults

The Delta Children Tree Shaped Bookcase at Costco is nearly four feet tall, and has lots of different storage areas for displaying knicknacks and toys. Instagrammer CostcoHotFinds, who spotted the tree shaped bookcase at Costco being sold for $119.99, also mentioned that she thinks her kid “would have loved playing with his action figures on it.” We can even see this tree bookcase being transformed into a playhouse for Calico Critters, or into a dollhouse. As for adults, it’s a colorful spot to display all sorts of collectibles and other unique items you want on display. It could be used to hold house plants, too.

Costco is currently sold out of the Delta Children Tree Bookcase online, so members (sign up for a membership here) will have to look for this one in stores. But what if you’re not a Costco member? Never fear.
The Delta Children Tree-Shaped Bookcase is available online on Amazon for $199.99, and from Sam’s Club, where it’s just $149.98. Sam’s Club is also selling a similarly enchanting Unicorn Shaped Bookcase from the same brand, and it currently holds a five-star rating.

We can totally see this brightening up a playroom, nursery, or bedroom. It also seems rife with DIY potential — a coat of chalkboard paint could be fun, and we’ve never said no to glitter spray paint.
Using one of these whimsically shaped bookcases is also a great way to make reading seem more fun to reluctant kids. It will seem a lot more appealing to choose a book from a tree-shaped bookcase than from a boring one. But the same goes for us grown-ups, too!
