Bugatti scooters. Ultra-cozy faux fur blankets. Storage-savvy bed frames. Snacks, pantry staples, and frozen goods as far as the eye can see. What do all of these have in common? They can all be found at Costco, the fan-favorite superstore that offers bulk quantities and incredible prices. The only catch: You need a membership to shop there. A Gold Star Membership is the standard membership and it’s usually $60 for a year. You can use it at any Costco worldwide (there are locations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Japan, and beyond) or online.

Given that most grocery stores are free to enter, though, the Gold Star card is a high enough barrier to entry for many non-Costco converts. But through this Sunday, Dec. 10, you can score that coveted membership for a mere $20 when you sign up through StackSocial —  well, technically, that is. While you’ll pay the full $60 fee up front, you’ll also receive a $40 digital Costco gift card upon purchase. So when you do the girl math (which is just sound math, of course), that’s $60 for the price of $20 for a year of affordable, high-quality groceries and hard-to-find home goods.

If you’re feeling charitable during the season of giving, you can also buy a gift membership for that friend or family member who’s tricky to shop for. A Costco membership and a $40 gift card is a gold star present, to be sure. Sure, you’ll spend the full $60, but you’ll likely give them one of their favorite gifts of the season. Just be sure to let them know they need to redeem their membership by Jan. 27 to cash in on the promotion.

Curious what $40 can get you at the warehouse club? Here are a few examples to get you started:

Whether you plan to buy the membership so you can shop for presents ahead of the holidays, buy it as the gift itself, or buy it simply as a little luxury for yourself, be sure not to miss out on this deal.
