Costco Is Selling a 16-Piece Dinnerware Set at a Shocking Discount

The Costco.HotBuys Instagram account was one of the first to flag that the big-box retailer is offering shoppers the Baum Phara Dinnerware 16-piece set for $19.97 at its East Hanover, New Jersey, location. The set, sold in stores, is dishwasher- and microwave-safe and made from sturdy stoneware. It’s offered in two colors — light gray and mint — and features four of each of the following: dinner plates, salad plates, dinner bowls, and salad bowls.
Even though the set isn’t available online, it’s likely that if the New Jersey location is well-stocked, others will be too, so it’s worth checking your local Costco (or calling ahead) to see about availability. For anyone in love with the set and willing to wait, The Home Depot (in both colors for $68.99), Kohl’s (in only the blue color), and Amazon (only in gray, and with mugs) are all currently out of stock but offering waitlist availability.
If you want your plates and to eat off them too as soon as possible, The Home Depot is selling a similar set to the Baum collection with the Baum Malaga 16-piece stoneware dinner set (which includes dinner and salad plates, bowls, and mugs), available only in a Robin’s egg blue for $59.83. You’d be paying more, but the items are in stock and could be shipped straight to you.
Other retailers also have similar Baum sets “on shelves,” like Wayfair’s Baum Ceramic dinnerware set (which includes dinner and salad plates, bowls, and mugs) that’s on sale for $54.31 and will ship straight to your door.
The print makes these plates work for any occasion and they’d be a perfect purchase for someone looking to refresh their dinnerware (or buy a complete set for the first time).
