The New Costco Bakery Item That’s Perfect for Back-to-School Snacking
Back-to-school is back, which means that snacking is top of mind. Having plenty of options in the house when the kiddos come home hungry is key to managing the September madness—and buys you some time while you make dinner. We always have an array of chips and fruit on hand, but it's nice to have a little something, sweet too. And that's where Costco comes in. Their new-ish bakery find caught our eye on social media and we're definitely adding it to our shopping list.

The Costco Bakery Item Your Family Will Love
The 24-pack of freshly baked cookies sells for $8.99 and includes an assortment of oatmeal raisin, chocolate chunk and double nut varieties. The variety pack is great because kiddos (and parents) have options, so they can choose the cookie that matches their mood.
They were spotted in stores recently by @costcoguide, who posed the question: “Which flavor sounds best?” (We’re having trouble picking a favorite – but thankfully each package contains eight cookies of each flavor.)

It’s unclear exactly when Costco added this item to their bakery inventory, but they seem to be relatively new. Amber at Everyday Fun Finds was excited to discover these cookies at the Costco bakery in May and noted, “I am happy to say that the cookies tasted just as good as they looked!”
If you don't need the cookies for snacking, we're thinking that they'd also be great for school bake sales, play dates and end-of summer cookouts. We can also imagine sandwiching some with ice cream and tucking them in the freezer for a fun and easy ice cream sandwich upgrade.

What Else Can You Find in the Costco Bakery?
Of course, there are many other great finds you will discover while you’re cruising through the Costco bakery section. One new item that has already become a hit: Costco’s Cinnamon & Raisin Bread, which one Redditor deemed, “immaculate when toasted with butter.”
The fan-favorite cherry danish also recently made a welcome return to the Costco bakery shelves. With all of these options, we have no doubt you'll be able to load up your cart with plenty of tasty treats before you leave the bakery section.
