The Cuyahoga Falls City Schools and local partners will have the 10th Annual CFCSD All-City Art Walk on April 25.

The event, presented in part by the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center and Wayne Agency, is themed “Home is where the heART is!"

This free, family-friendly event will run from 5 to 8 p.m. and will showcase the talents of Cuyahoga Falls artists in kindergarten through 12th grade. With several locations as starting points in downtown Cuyahoga Falls, attendees will enjoy a variety of creative interactive displays, make-and-take art activities, student music performances, professional artist demonstrations, and fun photo opportunities. Featured activities this year include the Akron Children’s Museum at the Cuyahoga Falls Library; an "ARTeology Museum" featuring ARTifacts from the 10 year history of the Art Walk in COOP 111 on Portage Trail, between Harvest Yoga and Flurry's; and face painting and hair fun with Cuyahoga Falls High School cosmetology students outside the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center.

New this year is the Kent State University Traveling Stanzas Poetry Makerspace on the Riverfront Plaza and Akron Art Museum’s Pop Cart Exhibit at the Riverfront Pavilion. The event will also feature more than 900 student artworks displayed on more than 55 storefront windows in downtown Cuyahoga Falls through April 25.

Another new feature is the “heART Walk,” the All-City Art Walk's first ever student-created public art installation. This will be showcased throughout the event in celebration of CFCSD All City Art Walk’s 10th anniversary. Wayfinding cement clings will guide travelers through time in downtown Cuyahoga Falls to imagine how the concept of home has changed and developed from the past to present day.

Featured professional artists for the event include Tony Kasmar, Evan Laisure, and Mac and Allyse Love.
