We unapologetically love chubbies. For any woman on the run, carrying around a few thick sticks of makeup is a no-brainer. They are easy to stash in a little bag, unlikely to make a mess, and since you’re swiping them on and smudging with your fingers, it’s tough to mess up. These three new chubbies are our favorites for spring.

Elizabeth Arden Sunset Bronze Prismatic Highlighter, $28.50

This creamy, luminous stick highlighter glides effortlessly onto the skin to illuminate cheeks, brow bones, eyelids, down the center of your nose — anywhere you want to have a glow. Bonus: It’s packed with aloe vera, zinc PCA and vitamin E to hydrate and condition skin.

Clinique Chubby in the Nude Foundation Stick, $24

This multitasker is foundation in a stick you can get creative with. The line encourages doodling on your face to contour and highlight, and the foundation feels lightweight and creamy. You don’t need a lot for coverage, we suspect this product will last and last.

Nuance Salma Hayek Shadow Sticks, $12 in CVS Stores and online

The recently revamped line from Salma Hayek has a lot to recommend it, but we’re loving these thick shadow sticks that swipe on as smoothly as more expensive brands. A key ingredient is soothing chamomile to calm and nourish the skin.
