Christopher Meloni

Celebrity Jeopardy!'s latest episode, on Wednesday, Oct. 11, had former champion Christopher Meloni, who most people know from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Organized Crime, facing off against The View's Sherri Shepherd and sports commentator Katie Nolan.

While the guests were interesting on their own, the trio ended up being very capable competitors, with fans on the edge of their seats watching to see who would win.

Many of Meloni's fans were rooting for him, especially since the actor, who appeared on the show previously in 2006 and 2009, won his 2006 game for the Big Apple Circus Clown Care Program & the Montefiore Advocacy Center.

This time around, Meloni had his work cut out for him, with both Shepherd and Nolan holding their own. In fact, Nolan came out with an early lead, with $10,300 compared to Meloni and Shepherd's $2,500 and $1,600, respectively, at the end of Double Jeopardy.

Then Meloni surprised many when he won the last Daily Double, going into Final Jeopardy with $8,800 to Nolan's $14,100.

In Final Jeopardy, both Meloni and Nolan got the question under the category "Rallying Cries" correct, but Nolan messed up her math and the two ended up tied with $17,600.

Meloni and Nolan participated in a rare tie-breaker, with the category being "French History." The question was, “Drink up! A famous New Orleans street is named after this dynasty that ruled France for most of the 17th & 18th centuries.”

Nolan quickly buzzed in and answered "Bourbon," winning the game.

Fans really enjoyed the episode, with one person posting on X in response, "What's making @katienolan's performance even more impressive is that Christopher Meloni has won #CelebrityJeopardy before. #Jeopardy."

"That was a very stressful hour of jeopardy @Chris_Meloni," said another, while a third declared, "The finish of that celeb jeopardy episode was sports, actually."

Someone else wrote, "Yo @katienolan almost just fumbled over the goal line and while I’m ultimately glad she won, my goodness the *content* if she didn’t. 😂 #CelebrityJeopardy."

Nolan competed in Celebrity Jeopardy! for the Association for Women in Sports Media, while Meloni represented the Global Lyme Alliance and Shepherd represented the Move-In Day Mafia Initiative at Project Dreamlight.
