Christie Brinkley brought her red-hot style to an event for a good cause this weekend.
On Friday, Nov. 10, the supermodel walked the red carpet at the 13th annual American Humane Hero Dog Awards, and her attire for the evening was nothing short of stunning.
Brinkley, 69, looked flawless in a daring red gown while hitting up the event at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Fla., where she proved once again that age is just a number.
The long-sleeve garment featured a body-hugging shape with fabric cinching at the waist and draping down to the floor. Brinkley paired the look with dewy makeup, a bright red lip and a voluminous blow out for her shiny blond locks.
But not only did Brinkley look like a top dog at Friday's event, but she also served as a co-host for the evening alongside Carson Kressley,
Each year, the annual event "searches out and recognizes America's Hero Dogs," according to the organization's website, which notes that these canine heroes are often "ordinary dogs who do extraordinary things, whether it’s saving lives on the battlefield, lending sight or hearing to a human companion, or helping people achieve their goals."
This year's winner, a 150-pound European Great Dane therapy dog named Maverick, even posed for a photo with Brinkley. The pooch sat right next to her on the red carpet as the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model crouched down to give him some kisses.
Brinkley took to Instagram on Saturday to plug the sweet event, which she called "a warm loving field good show about heroes on both ends of the leash!"
"It will make you laugh and maybe cry but it will make you feel good," she added, plugging that the show will air Thanksgiving evening on FYI Network, and again on A&E Channel over the holiday.
"I hope you’ll join @carsonkressley and me as we host this amazing event.. and lots of your favorite stars awarding incredible Dogs their awards!"
