Chick-fil-A Adds One Sweet and One Spicy Option to Menus
Chick-fil-A is spicing up its end-of-summer menus with two flavorful new additions.
Before the pumpkin spice season takes over, the fast food chain is releasing a savory Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich and a decadent Caramel Crumble Milkshake.
The new Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich features a chicken filet that's drizzled with honey, topped with Southern-style pimento cheese and served on a toasted bun with pickled jalapeños.
The Caramel Crumble Milkshake is said to include a butterscotch caramel-flavored milkshake base made with hand-spun ice cream and blondie crumbles, topped off with whipped cream and a cherry.

According to the release, both items are headed to participating Chick-fil-A locations nationwide beginning Monday, Aug. 28, and are only available while supplies last.
Chick-fil-A also told Parade that during the sandwich's year of testing, customers across markets in North and South Carolina rated the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich "highly for taste and value, surpassing other seasonal sandwiches" and putting it on the same level as the Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich.
Chick-fil-A isn't the only eatery to attempt to prolong summer by releasing offerings expected to stick around until the changing of the seasons.
Starbucks recently announced it would be extending its lineup of summer-only options with the launch of its new summer remix menu and Taco Bell is even getting in on it with the release of the Strawberry Twist Frosty. Other food chains conveniently revamping menus as we near the end of the summer include Wendy's, the food court at Costco and McDonald's.
