Fan-Favorite Blizzard Flavor Returns at Dairy Queen

Dairy Queen is bringing back a fan-favorite Blizzard flavor!

To the delight of fans, the chain responded to popular demand, welcoming back its Caramel Fudge Cheesecake Blizzard from last year's Spring/Summer offerings.

Last month, the upcoming fall lineup of sweet treats was reportedly leaked, revealing what fans could expect from the eatery in the weeks to come. Now, the coveted item is making its way back to menus nationwide.

The Caramel Fudge Cheesecake flavor was first debuted in Spring 2022, as part of the ice creamery's All-Star Summer Blizzard lineup. The frozen treat features vanilla soft serve blended with cheesecake pieces and fudge-covered salty caramel pieces.

Confirming the comeback for itself, DQ shared a video on its official Instagram account with details about the beloved menu item, as it went through the steps to prepare the frozen mashup. "Delicious and indulgent meld in the Caramel Fudge Cheesecake BLIZZARD Treat," the caption read, along with hashtags: "#happytastesgood #behindthescenes"

"Cheesecake perfection," text over the clip read, adding a chef's kiss hand gesture emoji to really drive the point home.

In the comment section, fans rejoiced over the returning item.

"This ONE is soooooo yummy!! 😍" one raved, as another agreed, "This is the best Blizzard flavor..LOVE it."

More returning fan favorites are expected to return over the course of the month and into September. Dairy Queen's fall menu will officially be available starting Aug. 28, according to a post on Instagram food blog, snackolator.

The menu includes the brand new Royal Reese's Fluffernutter Blizzard, filled with a marshmallow creme center. DQ is also bringing back beloved options like Oreo Hot Cocoa, Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough, Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Pie, and Choco Dipped Strawberry.

Summer might be on its way out the door (kind of), but luckily, there are some treats in store to usher in the next season!
