Changes coming to Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Voucher Program in Lancaster

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) — The Lancaster County Office of Aging has announced that changes are coming to the application process for the 2024 Farmers Market Nutrition Voucher Program.

This year, the office will only accept applications and distribute vouchers by mail. Seniors must mail applications to the office at 150 North Queen Street, Suite 415, Lancaster PA 17603.

Vouchers will be processed by office staff and returned to eligible applicants by mail. Vouchers will not be distributed in person at senior centers or personal care homes

To be eligible for the program, seniors must be at least 60 years old by December 31, 2024, live in Lancaster County, and have a gross household income below $27,861 for one person or below $37,814 for two people.

The office is currently accepting applications and is set to begin distributing vouchers on June 1st.
