Celebrating 4/20? Here's 5 cannabis events in Oklahoma City on Saturday

Many Oklahomans will join people across the globe in celebration of April 20, also known as 4/20, as a day recognizing and cherishing the consumption of marijuana.

Here's how cannabis connoisseurs in Oklahoma City can celebrate:

Chronic Palooza VI

Chronic Palooza is a cannabis festival that will host its sixth year at the Old Crossroads Mall in Oklahoma City April 20 and 21.

The festival will feature over a dozen bands and performers, medical cannabis doctors, body painters, food trucks and several other attractions.

Extravaganja Fest

Extravaganja Fest is a day of music, art, food trucks and activities at 2642 NW 10th St. from 3-9 p.m. on April 20.

For women, tickets are $15 at the door, and $20 for men. Presale tickets are $15.

May Lynn's 420 Friendly Pajama Story Time

At 2 p.m. on April 20, May Lynn, a storyteller, YouTuber and podcaster, will host May Lynn's 420 Pajama Story Time at the Point A Gallery at 2124 NW 39th St.

Attendees are encouraged to come in their pajamas and bring blankets, pillows and snacks.

Tickets are $5.

4-20 On the Plaza with Luvbass

Luvbass Productions will host 4-20 On the Plaza w/Luvbass from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. on April 20 at 1715 NW 16th St.

The event will feature various DJs with entertainment including house, techno, funk and breaks.

The event is free to enter and attendees must be 21 and older.

420 Party at Dr. Feelgood's

Dr. Feelgood's at 205 S. Sooner Rd. will host the 420 Party featuring karaoke and alcoholic beverages from 9 p.m. to 1:45 a.m. on April 20.

The party will also include liquid marijuana drinks, but it is encouraged to bring your own cannabis.
