Canadian Ski Resort Sees First Snowfall Of The Season

Excitement is in the air as Lake Louise Ski Resort, located in Alberta, Canada, is reporting their first snow accumulation of the season.

The resort shared two pictures on September 6th, 2023 of white flakes blanketing the upper elevation slopes of the ski resort.

Check out the photos below:

Lake Louise still has two months before their scheduled November 10th opening date, but a few flakes at the end of summer never hurt anybody, right?

The early comments on the Instagram post show that Lake Louise's followers are excited about the summer snow:

"Holy guacamole!! We're stoked!!"

"This puts a smile on my face for sure!"

"Looking at this from Quebec in 40 degree weather and dreaming of skiing right now"

"Yaaasssss"

Yaaaaaaasssss. Yaaaaasssss indeed my fellow internet user. I share their excitement that snow and cold weather is slowly returning to North America.

Lake Louise might be over 2,000 miles away, but snow falling on a North American ski resort in September is worth celebrating.

The resort joins Snowbird, Breckenridge, Mt. Hood Meadows, and a handful of European resorts in recording their first snowfall of the season.
